Fronius 22kW WATTPILOT Go Transportable EV Charger - Socket
Everything you need to know.
Fronius Wattpilot Go 22 J AUS – 22kW Transportable EV Charger
The Fronius Wattpilot Go 22 J AUS is a powerful and intelligent transportable EV charger designed specifically for the Australian market. Delivering up to 22kW three-phase AC charging, it combines the convenience of a portable charger with advanced smart charging and solar optimisation.
Unlike a permanently wired wall charger, the Wattpilot Go 22 J AUS is supplied with an Australian 32A three-phase plug, allowing it to be used with a suitable compatible outlet. It features an untethered Type 2 charging socket, giving you the flexibility to select the Type 2 charging cable length that suits your vehicle and installation.
Please note: Type 2 charging cable is not supplied and must be purchased separately.
Smart Solar EV Charging
For homes with solar, the Wattpilot can dynamically use available surplus PV energy to charge your EV. The Go 22 J AUS supports dynamic PV surplus charging from 1.38kW to 22kW, including automatic 1-phase/3-phase switchover at 230/400V. This allows charging power to adapt to available solar generation rather than unnecessarily drawing all charging power from the grid.
When integrated into the Fronius ecosystem, Wattpilot can also be incorporated into Fronius Solar.web, providing visibility of your PV system and energy usage.

Smart Control & Security
Charging can be controlled directly from the Wattpilot or through the Fronius Solar.wattpilot smartphone/tablet app. RFID access allows the charger to be protected against unauthorised use, while support for up to 10 user profiles makes it suitable for households where multiple drivers or vehicles need separate charging records.
Built for Flexibility
Whether you’re charging at home or taking the charger with you, the Wattpilot Go provides considerably more flexibility than a conventional fixed wallbox. Fronius specifies compatibility across EV makes, making it a versatile charging solution even if you change vehicles in the future.
Important: This product is untethered and does not include a Type 2 EV charging cable. A compatible cable is required to connect the Wattpilot to your vehicle. An additional upstream 30mA Type A residual-current circuit breaker and automatic circuit breaker are specified by Fronius. For outdoor use, the Wattpilot should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
